What is the GEOINT Symposium?
The annual GEOINT Symposium is the nation’s premier intelligence event. Where and when does GEOINT 2007 take place?
GEOINT 2007 will take place October 21-24 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in downtown San Antonio, Texas.
Is this symposium classified?
No, there are no classified sessions at the GEOINT 2007 Symposium. All exhibits, keynotes, panels, and break-out sessions are unclassified and open to all attendees.

Are hotel charges included in registration costs?
Hotel charges are not included in registration costs. A large block of guest rooms for GEOINT 2007 attendees were reserved at the Marriott Rivercenter and Marriott Riverwalk. These hotels are now SOLD OUT. Please visit the GEOINT 2007 Travel and Lodging page to be included on the Marriott waitlist or find other nearby options in the San Antonio area.
How can I pay my registration fee?
Registration fees may be paid by any of the following means:
No registration will be confirmed unless accompanied by full payment, signed company purchase order or government voucher. Registrations with fees paid by wire/bank transfer will not be confirmed until USGIF has received bank confirmation that the transfer has been received.

What is included in a One-Day Expo Only Pass?
Only those activities taking place in the Exhibit Hall on the day for which your badge was purchased. There is a limit of one, One-Day Expo Only Pass per attendee.
Is there an “official airline” for GEOINT 2007?
United Airlines is the Offiicial Airline of the GEOINT 2007 Symposium. For a discount on your flight arrangements, call MeetingPlus Reservation Center at (800) 521-4041. What are the cancellation/refund policies?
If you are unable to attend GEOINT 2007, we encourage you to send a substitute. Cancellations must be submitted in writing on the refund and cancellation form found at http://www.geoint2007.com/Conf_ConfReg.aspx and mailed to:

Cancellations received on or before August 31, 2007 will receive a 100% refund, less a $100 processing fee.
Cancellations received after August 31, 2007 and before October 16, 2007 will receive a 50% refund, less a $100 processing fee.
No refunds will be given after October 15, 2007 and registrations received after this date are not eligible for refunds.
All requests for refunds must be received in writing within 45 days of GEOINT 2007 (December 3, 2007) and request must be submitted on the GEOINT 2007 refund/cancellation form.
Can my spouse or a guest attend the receptions or GEOWalk Corporate Hospitality Night?
No, not unless they are registered for the Symposium. We do not sell separate tickets to these events. Only registered symposium attendees are permitted to attend.
Is there an age restriction for GEOINT 2007?
Due to liability restrictions, no one under the age of 18, including infants and toddlers, is permitted to attend GEOINT 2007 Symposium event or to enter the exhibit hall at any time.
Is GEOINT 2007 Tax Deductible?
If the purpose of attending GEOINT 2007 is to help you maintain or improve skills relating to employment or business, a portion of your conference expenses may be tax deductible according to IRC Reg. 1.162.5. The eligible deduction for this amount is generally limited. Please consult your tax advisor. You cannot deduct the cost of meals from your registration fee.
What is the official language of the symposium?
English is the official language of the conference. USGIF is unable to provide translation services for conference attendees.
What is the dress code?
Business attire is recommended for all conference sessions, the exhibit hall and Hall of Fame Dinner. Military officers and enlisted personnel are recommended to wear duty uniform or business suit. Texas attire is recommended for the Welcome Reception and Corporate Hospitality Night. The average temperature in San Antonio for October is a high of 82° and low of 62°.
Will Internet access be available at the Symposium?
An Internet café will be located within the GEOINT 2007 exhibit hall. You will be able to check your email, explore the internet and print boarding passes.
What is the solicitation policy?
Solicitation of any kind is prohibited at the GEOINT 2007 Symposium. By registering to attend, you acknowledge this policy and agree that you will not advertise, represent or distribute literature for products or services to our exhibitors, attendees or staff without the express written approval of USGIF. Any attendee that violates this policy will forfeit their registration credentials.

Where can I pick up my GEOINT 2007 Badge?
Badges will be available for pick up at the GEOINT 2007 Registration Counters located at the entrance to Exhibit Hall C. Badges must be worn at all times and photos will be taken onsite at registration to be used as identification. Badges will not be mailed.
